The ReadEra program for reading books and viewing PDF documents neither contains ads nor imposes internal purchases. I've tried Librera, and Moon Reader, and they're both great too, but ReadEra premium is one of the best apps I've ever used and makes reading on a tablet such a pleasure. ReadEra book reader allows reading books for free, offline in PDF, EPUB, Microsoft Word (DOC, DOCX, RTF), Kindle (MOBI, AZW3), DJVU, FB2, TXT, ODT and CHM formats. Bookmarks are a must have for me so I chose Aldiko. Speechify, JAWS, NVDA for Windows and Mac, and Apple Voiceover are the most commonly recommended screen readers. If you have a Chromebook, there is already a screen reader called chromevox which is already built in. Not sure how much of this you can do without premium. Aldiko is an eBook reader that reads PDFs as well, remember the last page you were at and on top of that allows you to set bookmarks, something that Adobe Reader and most other readers I tried won't let you do. Read the screen of your phone or computer easier with these top-rated screen readers. I hope I explained that clearly, but it's something to behold. I study a fair amount around trauma and human development, but that content can be dense as well as pretty overwhelming (as I have Complex PTSD and can dissociate when reading heavy content and getting overwhelmed), so after reading a book, highlighting a bunch and adding several notes, I can quickly go back and get an overview of a book by glancing over all of that logically organized in one place. For our tutorial youll need the following things: A copy of ebook management software Calibre. I read a lot of non-fiction and do a lot of notating, and I think this concept is absolutely brilliant. Today were going to look at two ways you can re-format a PDF file for enjoyable reading on your favorite reader. Then when you go to the book that you've highlighted and notated, it will show all of your highlights, with the actual content you highlighted, what color you highlighted (in case you have a system for what each color means) and the note you added below the highlight! It also saves the page number the user was reading. The app shows a list of recently read PDFs. You can also select options such as language, pitch and speed of the voice. When you upload PDF and EPUB files to Play Books, you can read them on any device you sign in to. This is an application which will read aloud any PDF from your device with Play-Pause-Resume facility. Can highlight in four different colors, and you can add your own notes to whereever you highlight. You can read PDF and EPUB documents with Google Play Books. So good that I paid the slightly pricey amount for Premium (about $10) and well-worth the money spent, no doubt in my mind. Someone else mentioned ReadEra is incredible. As someone already mentioned, Librera Pro on F-Droid is great - especially if you're a FOSS person (which I certianly am), BUT.
